P.R.No:644- Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are being kept in individual rooms in the Nilgiris district

According to the directive of the Election Commission of India, in the Nilgiris district additional collector office, separate rooms have been set up for the storage of electronic voting machines, which are stored in the electronic voting machine warehouse, categorized by legislative assembly constituencies (108-Udhagamandalam, 109-Gudalur (Single), and 110-Coonoor). Measurement work will be carried out by Public Works Department officials, and the electronic voting machine warehouse was opened today (18.10.2024) in the presence of the Nilgiris District Election Officer, the District Collector Mrs. Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, I.A.S., for monthly inspections.
