P.R.No:56- Bank loans for ex-servicemen to start businesses, under the new scheme of “Mudhalvarin Kakkum Karangal”

On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day (15-08-2024), the Honorable Chief Minister launched a new scheme called “Mudhalvarin Kakkum Karangal (CM’s Protective Hands)” for the welfare of ex-servicemen, under which former soldiers can avail loans of up to Rs. 1 crore from banks to start their businesses. Therefore, the District Collector, Mrs. Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, I.A.S., has stated that ex-servicemen and widows of ex-servicemen who died during military service from the Nilgiris district should apply by approaching the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Office located on Good shed Road, Udhagamandalam, before 10.02.2025, to avail the benefits.
