P.R.No:301- Press release regarding the collection of Green Tax at Kallar Check Post in the Nilgiris District

For the purpose of collecting Green Tax at the Kallar Check Post in Nilgiris District, price quotations are invited from registered security agencies (preference will be given to agencies run by ex-servicemen) to operate on a temporary basis in a 24×7 rotational system.

The quotations should be sent to the address:
District Collector’s Office (General),
Udhagamandalam,
Nilgiris District,
on or before 5:00 PM on 23.06.2025.

District Collector Mrs. Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, I.A.S., stated that the wages for these personnel will be provided on a percentage basis from the tax collected, based on the lowest quoted rates. (PDF 33KB)
