P.R.No: 509- “Aakanksha Haat” event is being held at the Government Botanical Garden Ground, Ooty.

The Aspirational Block Programme is being implemented by the Central Government to foster development in all sectors, with the Kotagiri Block of the Nilgiris district selected for the initiative.

As a part of this program, a week-long “Aakanksha Haat” event aims to encourage local artisans by showcasing handicrafts made by the local tribal people.The event will take place from 01.09.2025 to 07.09.2025 (7 days) at the Government Botanical Garden ground in Ooty.(PDF 52KB)
