The Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu presents awards to social workers and voluntary organizations that provide outstanding service to women’s advancement during the Independence Day celebrations.

The social worker receiving this award will be given a cash prize of ₹50,000/- and a certificate. The best voluntary organization will receive a cash prize of ₹1,00,000/- and a certificate.
