P.R.No:260 – India Meteorological Department has announced that heat wave is likely to occur in Tamil Nadu.

While the temperature has been increasing in various districts of Tamil Nadu for the past few days, the India Meteorological Department announced on 23.4.2024 that the northern interior districts of Tamil Nadu such as Vellore, Tirupattur, Ranippet, Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Tiruchirappalli, Ariyalur, Perambalur, districts on 23.4.2024 and 24.4.2024 may experience heat wave at one or two places.
