P.R.No:267- Immediate Traffic Restrictions on Ooty – Naduvattam – Gudalur NH Road Due to Landslip Hazard

The District Administration of Nilgiris has issued an urgent public safety notice following continuous heavy rainfall and a Red Alert from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for the next two days (i.e., 29.05.2025 and 30.05.2025).

A significant landslip has occurred on Naduvattam Road, with large boulders and debris posing an imminent danger of rolling down the hillside. In view of this serious risk, the traffic restrictions are being implemented with immediate effect and until further notice:(PDF 135KB)
