P.R.No:409- Public Can Report Illegal Cottages/Home Stays/Lodges/Resorts in Nilgiris District to the District Collectorate

As per the directive of the Hon’ble High Court of Madras, a special committee comprising the District Revenue Officer, Municipal Commissioner, District Tourism Officer, and Local Body Officials has been formed by the district administration to identify and take action against illegally operating cottages, home stays, lodges, and resorts in the Nilgiris district.

The District Collector, Mrs. Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, I.A.S., has informed us that the public can report complaints about these illegal establishments to the District Collectorate by calling or sending a message via WhatsApp to the Helpline Number 94427 72709.(PDF 56KB)
