P.R.No:461- District Collector Invites Farmers to Earn Higher Profits by Selling Produce through e-NAM Scheme

To benefit farmers, the Central Government has implemented the Electronic National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) scheme. This initiative aims to ensure better prices for farmers by integrating regulated market yards across the country through an online platform.

Currently, the e-NAM scheme is being implemented in 157 regulated market yards across Tamil Nadu. In the Nilgiris district, the scheme is operational in two regulated markets: Coonoor and Udhagai.

The District Collector has encouraged farmers to take advantage of this scheme to sell their agricultural produce and earn higher profits.(PDF 47KB)
