P.R.No:565 – District Collector inspected the Kundah Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Project in Kundah Taluk

On the second day of the “Ungalai Thedi, Ungal Ooril” program in the Kundah Taluk of the Nilgiris district, the District Collector, Mrs. Lakshmi Bavya Tanneeru, I.A.S., conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing 4×125 MW Kundah Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Project in the Kattukuppai area of the Nanjanad village. This project is being undertaken by the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) with an estimated value of ₹1,850 crores. (PDF 39KB)
