In the Nilgiris district, a review meeting was held with government departments regarding landslides and preventive measures, chaired by Dr. J. Jayaranjan, Vice Chairman of the State Planning Commission (SPC), along with full-time member Professor R. Srinivasan and additional full-time member Professor M. Vijayabaskar.
