P.R.No:644- Children are benefiting daily following the provision of vehicles to tribal residential schools

As part of efforts by the Tamil Nadu Department for Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare, and with the aim of encouraging school attendance and reducing dropouts among tribal children, the Government of Tamil Nadu has provided school vehicles worth Rs. 41.33 lakhs to three tribal residential schools in Kunjappanai, Bokkapuram, and Kargudi in the Nilgiris district.
Following this initiative:
- 25 students are benefiting daily at Kunjappanai School.
- 27 students at Bokkapuram School, and
- 64 students at Kargudi School,
making a total of 116 children using these school vehicles every day.
