P.R.No:708- Scheme for Providing Subsidy to Christians Undertaking the Holy Pilgrimage to Jerusalem

Applications are invited from Christian beneficiaries belonging to all sections of Tamil Nadu who have undertaken the Holy Pilgrimage to Jerusalem after November 1, 2025, under a scheme that provides a direct subsidy via ECS.

The District Collector, Mrs. Lakshmi Bavya Thanneeru, I.A.S., informed that:

• The scheme aims to benefit 600 Christians from Tamil Nadu.
• Application forms can be obtained free of charge from the District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Office/Minorities Welfare Office, functioning within the Additional Collectorate premises.
