P.R.No:765- Hon’ble Minister for Tamil Development and Information inaugurated roads and libraries for public use.

In the Ebbanadu Panchayat area of the Nilgiris district, the Hon’ble Minister for Tamil Development and Information, Thiru M.P. Saminathan, officially inaugurated and inspected several new facilities for public use. The event took place in the presence of the Government Chief Whip, Thiru K. Ramachandran.

The inaugurated projects include:

• Road Infrastructure: An upgraded road in the Eppanadu Panchayat, completed at a cost of ₹2.34 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department.
• Public Libraries: Two new library buildings in the Thummanatty and Kakkuchi Panchayat areas, constructed at a cost of ₹44 lakh under a special scheme for public libraries.(PDF 46KB)
