To protect approximately 21,750 cattle and buffaloes in The Nilgiris district from Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD), the Department of Animal Husbandry will carry out the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) Foot-and-Mouth Disease vaccination campaign for cattle and buffaloes from 01.07.2026 to 10.08.2026.
