In this regard, the public is requested to celebrate Vinayaga Chaturthi festival by immersing the idols only in the places notified for each district by the District Administration and following the CPCB guidelines for idol immersion (available on the TNPCB website (www.tnpcb.gov.in), to protect our water bodies.
