P.R.No:184- Prohibition on Publication of Exit Polls / Opinion Polls During Election Period

The poll for the General Elections to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, 2026, will be held on 23.04.2026 from 7.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M. The Election Commission of India has issued the restrictions, which will apply to publication and dissemination of results of opinion polls/exit polls during the election: it shall be prohibited.(PDF 173KB)
