P.R. No:551- Agriculture Budget of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, 2026-27

On August 6, 2026, as part of the Agriculture Budget for 2026–27, the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare announced a scheme designed to enhance the reproductive capacity of livestock. This initiative aims to encourage members of women’s self-help groups who engage in the rearing of indigenous cattle breeds.  (PDF 141KB)
