P.R.No:564- Applications are invited to set up a Readymade Garment Manufacturing Unit
The Tamil Nadu Government has been implementing an innovative scheme with financial assistance to establish a Readymade Garment Manufacturing Unit aimed at improving the economy of backward, most backward, minority, and scheduled tribe communities in the state. A grant of Rs. 3.00 lakhs is being provided for the necessary machinery, raw materials, and other initial expenses required to set up the Readymade Garment Manufacturing Unit. To apply for this scheme, the group must consist of 10 members, and the annual income of each member should not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.
The District Collector, Mrs. Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, I.A.S., informed that those interested in benefiting from the above scheme are advised to contact the District Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Office, located at the Additional Collector’s Office, Finger Post, Ooty, the Nilgiris district, to obtain the appropriate application form and apply.(PDF 45KB)
