P.R.No:622- “Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign 3.0” under the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP)

As per the directive of the Government of India, the 60-day “Tobacco Free Youth Campaign 3.0” under the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) was advised to be launched in all districts at the district level through the District Collector from October 09, 2025, to December 08, 2025.

Following this, for a period of 60 days, from October 09, 2025, to December 08, 2025, awareness will be created regarding:

• Increasing public awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco at Sub-Health Centres, Government Primary Health Centres, and Community Health Centres.
• Promoting Tobacco-Free Educational Institutions (ToFEI).
• Initiatives for Tobacco-Free Villages.
• Improving the implementation of COTRA, 2003 (Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act), and PECA, 2019 (Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act).
• Increasing social media engagement.
