P.R.No:655- National Vitamin “A” Deficiency Prevention Program camp is scheduled to be held in the Nilgiris District

In the Nilgiris district, the National Vitamin “A” Deficiency Prevention Programme Camp will be held from 27.10.2025 to 31.10.2024. For children who miss the camp, the Vitamin A supplement will be administered on 01.11.2025.

Under this program,

• Children aged 6 months to 1 year will be given 1 milliliter (One Lakh I.U.) of vitamin A syrup, and
• Children above 1 year of age will be given 2 milliliters (Two Lakh I.U) of vitamin A syrup.(PDF 427KB)
