In the Nilgiris District, the Government Chief Whip, Thiru. K. Ramachandran, distributed free bicycles worth ₹5.18 Lakhs to 109 female students at C.S.I. Gel Memorial Girls Higher Secondary School, Udhagai.

The distribution event was held in the presence of the District Collector, Mrs. Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru I.A.S., and was organized by the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Minorities Welfare Department, and the School Education Department.(PDF 40KB)
