P.R.No:786- District Election Officer released the Nilgiri Flycatcher mascot to raise awareness for the 2026 Assembly Elections

In preparation for the upcoming 2026 Assembly General Elections, the District Election Officer and District Collector of the Nilgiris, Mrs. Lakshmi Bhavya Tanneeru, I.A.S., has unveiled an official mascot to encourage voting awareness among young voters.

The mascot is modeled after the Nilgiri Flycatcher mascot. During the event, the Collector officially launched the mascot and distributed “Neela” mascot materials to young voters to emphasize the importance of exercising their right to vote.(PDF 62KB)
