P.R. No:417- The new Panchayat Council office, housed in temporary buildings, was inaugurated today, August 20, 2026.

Pursuant to G.O. Ms. No. 330 of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (dated 27.11.2025) and the notification in Gazette No. 18 (dated 27.12.2025)—which ordered the reorganization of the Udhagamandalam Panchayat Union in Nilgiris District by splitting 13 existing panchayats into 38—new panchayat council offices for the newly formed panchayats were inaugurated today, 20.08.2026, in temporary buildings.
