P.R.No:538- Subsidies will be provided to fish farming farmers in the Nilgiris District

Under the 2026-2027 Agriculture Budget, a scheme has been introduced to provide input subsidies for fish farming in farm ponds, with a target of 5 such units set for the Nilgiris district. Applications are invited from beneficiaries in the Nilgiris district who possess farm ponds ranging in size from 250 square meters to 1,000 square meters. (PDF 106KB)
