Tourist vehicles are not permitted to travel via the Kalhatti Mountain Road in the Nilgiris District.

Only TN-43 registered vehicles and local vehicles are allowed to use the above road.

Local residents who own vehicles with registration numbers from other regions should contact the police (Contact Number: 9498101260) and obtain a valid Entry Pass to drive their vehicles on the above road route.(PDF 25KB)
